What is IMEI?
IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique number assigned to every GSM phone. IMEI is used by service providers to identify valid devices and can prevent stolen devices from accessing their network. The IMEI is only a device identification number and has no relation to the subscriber (phone user).
Where do I find my IMEI?
IMEI is typically found underneath the battery. It can also be found be typing *#06# on a handset. IMEI is usually 15 decimal digits and begins with 35 or 98.
What information do I need to provide to unlock my phone?
You will need to send us the following information:
- Your name and contact information
- Your current phone carrier
- IMEI number
