How unlocking works

We submit your IMEI number directly to the service provider or manufacturer of your phone and request the SIM unlock code. Your unlock code will be emailed to you automatically as soon as the service provider or manufacturer responds to our request. This can take up anywhere from 20 seconds to 24 hours depending on the model and the time of your order.

After you place your order through Google Checkout, We will email you asking you for the required information about your phone. An example of the information needed looks like this:

Carrier Locked to: T-Mobile
Phone Model:BlackBerry Curve 8900
IMEI: 1232456788995621
Google Checkout order number: 3222569652 (Just to confirm)

Once you enter the code we provide to you, your phone will instantaneously be unlocked and you will be able to use it with any GSM carrier and their SIM cards, regardless of where you are in the world.
